Sivakarthikeyan is set for the release of his film Amaran, directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy, where he plays an army officer. At a recent event, Sivakarthikeyan shared his experiences of portraying a soldier and interacting with real soldiers during the shoot in Kashmir. He admitted that while initially challenging, the role became more meaningful after witnessing the soldiers' dedication, which deepened his respect for their real-life sacrifices.

Amaran, inspired by the late Major Mukund Varadharajan, features Sivakarthikeyan as an army officer defending Kashmir. He underwent rigorous training to fit the role and achieved a superfit physique. Scheduled to release on October 31, just for Diwali, the film is anticipated to do well at the box office. With Sai Pallavi as the female lead and music by GV Prakash Kumar, the film is currently in post-production.
