Sivakarthikeyan's highly anticipated film, SK 25, has been officially titled Parasakthi. Directed by Sudha Kongara, the period drama takes place in historical Madras, showcasing a student revolt led by Sivakarthikeyan's character. The title teaser introduces Atharvaa Murali, Sreeleela, and Ravi Mohan in significant roles, with Ravi Mohan playing the antagonist. Sreeleela, known for her work in Telugu cinema, marks her debut in Tamil with this project.

Originally intended for actor Suriya, the film was reworked after his exit. Parasakthi draws inspiration from the 1952 classic Tamil film starring Sivaji Ganesan. Produced by Dawn Pictures, the film features music by GV Prakash, marking his 100th project with Sivakarthikeyan, and cinematography by Ravi Chandran.
