Stunt artist SM Raju tragically died while performing a dangerous car-toppling stunt during the shoot of Arya’s upcoming film directed by Pa. Ranjith on July 13. Actor Vishal, who collaborated with SM Raju on several films, expressed heartfelt grief over the stuntman’s tragic death. Remembering him as a fearless and dedicated artist, Vishal took to social media to share his sorrow.

More than just mourning the loss, Vishal promised unwavering support to Raju’s family, calling it a responsibility he would honor. Noted stunt choreographer Stunt Silva also expressed his condolences, emphasizing the deep loss felt by the stunt and film fraternity due to Raju’s untimely demise.

Raju had worked on several blockbuster films. The Arya-Pa Ranjith film, reportedly a sequel to Sarpatta Parambarai, is expected to release in 2026.
