Suriya 44 Title Teaser Revealed: Retro With Pooja Hegde, Release Date Confirmed

Suriya’s much-awaited film, Suriya 44, has been officially titled Retro. Directed by Karthik Subbaraj, the film's title teaser was released on Christmas Day, offering a glimpse of the romantic-action drama. The teaser showcases Suriya and Pooja Hegde in an emotional moment, where Suriya promises to change his ways, leaving behind his violent past. The title, Retro, is revealed as Suriya smokes and drinks in the teaser.

The film, set to release in the summer of 2025, marks the first collaboration between Suriya and Karthik Subbaraj. Besides Suriya and Pooja Hegde, the cast includes Jayaram, Joju George, Karunakaran, Nassar, Prakash Raj, and a special appearance by Shriya Saran. Music will be composed by Santhosh Narayanan and the film will be produced by Stone Bench Films and 2D Entertainment.
