Having started his film journey in 1997, Suriya’s career has seen a variety of roles and genres. Despite the lukewarm response to his 2024 release, Kanguva, he earned critical acclaim with Retro in 2025. Currently, he is shooting Karuppu alongside RJ Balaji, scheduled for a Diwali release, and is set to make his Telugu debut with a project directed by Venky Atluri.
