Suriya's Kanguva Film Receives U/A Certification

With just a week left for the theatrical release of the much-anticipated Suriya-starrer Kanguva, the filmmakers provided a censor certification update on Friday. The film, directed by Siva, has been granted a U/A certification by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), confirming that it is suitable for audiences above the age of 12.This action-adventure movie is set to release in 3D.

Apart from Suriya, Kanguva features a talented ensemble cast including Disha Patani, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, G Marimuthu, Ravi Raghavendra, KS Ravikumar, and Deepa Venkat, among others. The film will also mark the Tamil debut of Bollywood actress Disha Patani. Set in a fantasy period action genre, Kanguva is planned to be released in two parts.

Produced by Studio Green and UV Creations, the movie is set to showcase multiple time periods and is expected to be a visual spectacle. Cinematography is handled by Vetri Palanisamy, editing by the late Nishadh Yusuf, and art direction by the late Milan Fernandez. The film’s dialogues are written by Madhan Karky. According to reports, Kanguva will be released in 38 languages and will be available in 3D and IMAX versions, enhancing the overall cinematic experience.

Scheduled for release on November 14, Kanguva is highly awaited by fans, particularly for its epic scope and Suriya’s performance in this larger-than-life action fantasy.
