Suriya's 'Kanguva' Postponed to Avoid Conflict with Rajinikanth's 'Vettaiyan'
Suriya's highly awaited film Kanguva has shifted its release from October 10 to October 31 to prevent a direct clash with Rajinikanth's Vettaiyan. The new date aligns with Diwali.

According to industry insider AB George, the change was made based on distributor requests. Kanguva was originally set for an Ayudha Pooja release. Directed by Siva, the film stars Suriya alongside Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, and Jagapathi Babu. It is produced by K E Gnanavel Raja, V Vamsi Krishna Reddy, and Pramod Uppalapati under Studio Green and UV Creations, with a budget estimated between Rs 300 crore and Rs 350 crore.
