Suriya is returning to the big screen with Retro, directed by Karthik Subbaraj, featuring Pooja Hegde. Set for release on May 1, the film is a love story with action, not a gangster movie as initially thought. The trailer and audio will be launched on April 18. Shriya Saran appears in a special dance number, and Joju George, Jayaram, and Karunakaran play key roles. Produced by Suriya and Jyotika, Retro will compete with HIT 3 and Raid 2 at the box office.
