After the mixed response to Kanguva, Suriya is gearing up for his next film, Suriya44, directed by Karthik Subbaraj. The shooting for the film is complete, and post-production work is underway. Pooja Hegde stars as the female lead.

In a recent announcement at IIFA Goa 2024, Shriya Saran revealed that she will feature in a special dance number in Suriya44. The song, filmed in Goa on a specially designed set, will be released in December. Shriya expressed her excitement about being part of this project, which blends romance with action.

Suriya44 is slated for release on April 10, 2025, with music composed by Santosh Narayanan. The film is produced by Suriya’s 2D Entertainment banner.
