Actresses are increasingly stepping away from social media. After Tollywood star Anushka Shetty announced her break on Friday, Tamil actress Aishwarya Lekshmi also revealed she is quitting social media entirely.

She admitted that while social media is considered essential in the industry, it has affected her creativity and increased negativity, making her feel trapped.

Aishwarya shared on Instagram that she wants to focus on her work and protect her artistic self. She said, “I was willing to risk being forgotten to preserve the artist and the little girl in me. I hope to build meaningful relationships and make good films. If I deliver a really good film, I hope you’ll continue to share your love.”
