Renowned Tamil director Vikram Sugumaran passed away on Monday following a cardiac arrest while traveling by bus from Madurai to Chennai. The film industry is reeling from the shock of his untimely death.

Colleagues and celebrities have taken to social media to mourn his loss and share heartfelt tributes. Actor Shanthu shared emotional photos, saying he learned a lot from Vikram and will miss him deeply. Actor Kayal Devaraj also expressed disbelief over the news.

Vikram made his directorial debut with Mada Yanai Kootam and was working on a film titled Theram Poram. In an earlier interview, he had revealed being cheated by some in the industry, raising concerns about the stress he may have endured before his passing.
