Tamil Nadu Grants Special 9 AM Show for Suriya's Kanguva
The Tamil Nadu government has granted permission for special shows of Suriya's much-anticipated film Kanguva, directed by Siva, just two days before its release. In an official statement, the government approved the screening of a special show at 9 am on November 14. While Studio Green had requested permission for 5 am shows on November 14 and 15, only the 9 am show was approved. The maximum number of shows allowed per day in Tamil Nadu theatres is limited to five, with the last show required to end by 2 am.
Along with the approval for special shows, the statement outlined several rules for theatres, including ensuring appropriate security arrangements for the smooth entry and exit of spectators. The theatres are also required to provide adequate time for cleaning and maintaining hygienic conditions. Furthermore, the statement emphasized that the police department should collaborate to prevent overcrowding and ensure public health safety.
Apart from Suriya, Kanguva features Disha Patani, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, G Marimuthu, Ravi Raghavendra, KS Ravikumar, BS Avinash, and Deepa Venkat, among others. This fantasy period action film, which will be made in two parts, is expected to explore multiple time periods.Disha Patani will make her Tamil film debut with this movie. Produced by Studio Green and UV Creations, the film will be released in 38 languages in 3D and IMAX versions.
