The Tamil Rockers admin, Jeb Stephen Raj, has been arrested by the Kerala Police in Thiruvananthapuram. Tamil Rockers is a notorious pirate website that has been known for leaking films on their release day, causing significant financial losses to the film industry. Jeb Stephen Raj, originally from Madurai, Tamil Nadu, was apprehended for uploading the pirated version of the latest movie, Rayan, starring Dhanush. He had filmed the movie in a theater using his cell phone and was caught while attempting to upload it online.

For example, Prithviraj Sukumaran's Malayalam film, Guruvayur Ambalanadaiyil, which was released last May, was posted on Tamil Rockers on its first day. The Kerala Police were alerted following a complaint from Supriya, Prithviraj's wife. Besides Rayan, the police also discovered copies of Kalki 2898 AD and Maharaju.
