Tamil star hero Vijay, known as Thalapathy, founded a political party named 'Tamilaga Vetri Kalagam' (TVK). He announced TVK on February 2 this year, with a target to contest the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. 

To further his political ambitions, TVK President Vijay is organizing a massive public meeting in Tiruchi on September 25. During this event, Vijay will unveil the party's procedures, flag, and agenda. An official statement from TVK about this public meeting is expected soon. Vijay has been actively engaging with the youth of Tamil Nadu through various programs.

It remains to be seen whether Vijay will contest the elections independently or align with AIADMK.

In the entertainment sphere, Vijay is set to star in the movie 'The Goat (The Greatest of All Time), directed by Venkat Prabhu. The film, currently in pre-production, is scheduled for a worldwide release on September 5. Meenakshi Chaudhary will play the female lead opposite Vijay, with Sneha, Laila, Prashant, Prabhudeva, and others in key roles. This movie is poised to be a stylish action thriller.
