Chiyan Vikram's upcoming film, Thangalan, Directed by P. Ranjith, the film is set to release on August 15. The periodical action drama has garnered praise from the Censor board, receiving a U/A certificate with minor cuts. The film, with a runtime of 2 hours 36 minutes, is set against the backdrop of the Kolar gold mines during the British era and has been produced with a substantial budget of around Rs. 100 crores by KE Gyanvel Raja under the Studio Green banner.
