Following the release of Good Bad Ugly, Trisha, who plays the female lead, shared a cryptic message on Instagram addressing the online reviews and criticisms of the film. She questioned the mindset of social media users who spread negativity, writing, “Toxic people, how do you sleep well? Does posting harmful comments make your day? I feel terrible for you and those around you. Anonymous cowardice, indeed! God bless you all.”

This comes after many users criticized the film and Trisha's role. Directed by Adhik Ravichandran, Good Bad Ugly follows the story of AK (Ajith Kumar), a former gangster who returns to violence to protect his family. The film also stars Arjun Das, Prasanna, and others, with music by GV Prakash and cinematography by Abinandhan Ramanujam. Trisha and Ajith share their sixth collaboration in this film, having previously worked together on Ji, Kireedam, Mankatha, Yennai Arindhal, and Vidaamuyarchi.
