Veteran Tamil actress Bindu Ghosh passed away on Sunday at 76 in a Chennai hospital after battling health issues. Her family confirmed her death, and her funeral is set for Monday. Known for her comedic roles, Bindu appeared in several films alongside legendary actors like Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, and Vijayakanth.

Over the past few years, she has struggled with various health problems and financial difficulties, which she openly discussed in interviews. Despite undergoing heart surgery, she received financial aid from fellow actors, including ₹80,000 from Bala, for medical expenses. Bindu's notable films include Kalathur Kannamma, Kozhi Koovuthu, Mangamma Sabatham, and Uruvangal Maaralam.
