Producer Lyca Productions aims for a solo release for Vidaamuyarchi, leading to the change.

Good Bad Ugly, directed by Adhik Ravichandran, was originally scheduled for Pongal 2025. Despite the adjustment of Vidaamuyarchi’s release, the filmmakers have reiterated the Pongal 2025 release date with a special poster on Adhik Ravichandran’s birthday.

Ajith Kumar might release two films within a month, which is unusual for him. After Good Bad Ugly, he is expected to take a lengthy break, possibly over six months, and travel with his family. Ajith Kumar’s 64th project, tentatively titled AK 64, is anticipated to be announced in May next year, coinciding with his 54th birthday. The film is expected to be produced by Sun Pictures, with the director yet to be confirmed.
