Vijay's 'The Goat' Update: New Runtime and Censor Changes Revealed
Venkat Prabhu's 'The Greatest of All Time' (The GOAT), starring Vijay, releases on Sept 5. The 3:03-hour film received a U/A certificate after censor changes. Catch it in Tamil Nadu theaters from 4 am

Director Venkat Prabhu's film The Greatest of All Time (The GOAT), featuring Vijay, is set to release on September 5. Recently, the film underwent another round of censorship. The board recommended some modifications, leading to a revised runtime of 3 hours and 3 minutes, up from the original 2 hours and 59 minutes. The film has been granted a U/A certificate and includes entertaining bloopers. The updated sensor report is currently circulating on 'X'.
Following the board's feedback, the team of The GOAT removed a two-second reaction shot of a female character and replaced it with a new sequence. The film, a sci-fi action feature, incorporates 'de-aging' technology to present Vijay as a 25-year-old. He plays dual roles in the movie, with Meenakshi Chowdary as the heroine. Sneha, Laila, Prashanth, and Prabhu Deva play pivotal roles in the story. The film is set to be released on an unprecedented scale in Tamil Nadu and is poised to entertain audiences in Telugu as well. In Tamil Nadu, screenings will begin as early as 4 am on September 5.
