Actor Vishal has resolved his dispute with Lyca Productions regarding GST payments for the Tamil and Telugu rights of "Sandakozhi 2," which were sold for ₹23.21 crores in 2018. Vishal had sued Lyca Productions, claiming they failed to pay the 12 percent GST and seeking the overdue tax plus a penalty. He was concerned that the foreign company might evade the payment by fleeing abroad.

Recently, the court session led to a mediation request from Lyca Productions. At the latest hearing, Vishal’s lawyer confirmed that a settlement was reached, leading to the case's closure by the judge.

On the film front, Vishal's 2024 releases, 'Mark Antony' and 'Rathnam,' received positive reviews, with 'Mark Antony' being his highest-grossing film. Vishal is now preparing to direct 'Thupparivalan 2,' with shooting expected to begin soon.
