A tragedy has struck the Tamil film industry as young director Suresh Sangaiah has passed away. He had been suffering from liver-related issues for some time and was undergoing treatment at the Rajiv Gandhi Government Hospital. Suresh breathed his last on Friday night at 10:20 PM, as confirmed by his friend and cinematographer Sharan.

Several film industry personalities expressed their condolences over the death of Suresh Sangaiah leaves behind his wife and two children.

Suresh made his directorial debut in 2017 with the film Oru Kidayin Karunai Manu, starring Vidaarth in the lead role and Raveena Ravi as the heroine, which received critical acclaim. Last year, he directed the movie Sathya Sothanai and also worked on an OTT film featuring comedian Yogi Babu.
