Ram Charan Joins Telangana CM at Anti-Drug Event, Urges Public to Protect Future Generations

Tollywood actor Ram Charan attended a special event hosted by the Telangana government in Hyderabad to observe the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. The occasion was marked by the presence of several distinguished guests, including Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, badminton legend Pullela Gopichand, actor Vijay Deverakonda, producer Dil Raju, and various other prominent personalities from different sectors.political and film industries.

Ram Charan, while addressing the gathering, conveyed his appreciation for being involved in a significant awareness initiative as part of the Rising Telangana campaign. He said, “It’s an honor to stand alongside our Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, my brother Vijay Deverakonda, Dil Raju, Pullela Gopichand, and so many others for this important cause. I still remember buying soda and popsicles as a child. It’s heartbreaking to know that children in those same places are now unknowingly consuming harmful substances disguised as something harmless and exciting. It’s important to safeguard our families, friends, and educational institutions.

He also shared his surprise at learning that there is an internationally recognized day dedicated to the fight against drug abuse and emphasized the importance of collective participation in the movement.

On the professional front, Ram Charan is gearing up to entertain fans with his upcoming film Peddi, directed by Buchi Babu Sana. The movie is set to hit theaters on March 27, 2026.
