8 Vasanthalu, a romantic drama starring Ananthika Sanil Kumar and directed by Phanindra Narsetti, was released on June 20 to mixed reviews. Ananthika’s performance and the film’s first half were praised, though the second half drew criticism.

The film, produced by Mythri Movie Makers and scored by Hesham Abdul Wahab, follows Suddhi Ayodhya’s journey of love and self-discovery. Netflix has acquired the digital rights, and the film is set to stream in the second week of July 2025.
