Actor Prasad Behara Arrested After Allegations of Inappropriate Behavior by Co-actor
Actor Prasad Behara was arrested and sent to 14-day remand after a female co-actor filed a complaint accusing him of inappropriate physical contact and vulgar remarks during a web series shoot.

Prasad Behara, an actor who gained recognition with web series like Mavidakulu and Pelli Vaaramandi on YouTube, and later tried his luck in films with Committee Kurraalu, was arrested unexpectedly. This news came as a shock as he was sent to a 14-day remand. The reason behind the arrest is that a female actor, who worked in one of the web series Prasad starred in, filed a complaint with the police alleging that he touched her inappropriately. She claimed that during the shooting of Pelli Vaaramandi web series, he had touched her inappropriately, which made her uncomfortable, and she had even decided to leave the series.
The actor later mentioned in her complaint that after apologizing several times, she agreed to work with him again in a year on a web series called Mechanic. However, even then, his behavior did not change. She claimed that during the shoot, he tried to touch her in front of everyone and was overly familiar with her. She stated that his inappropriate language and actions made her feel fearful of him. On the 11th of this month, around 2:30 PM, she reported that he touched her back in an obscene manner, and when she confronted him asking why he did it, he did not give a satisfactory answer. Everyone on set laughed it off, thinking it was a joke.
She revealed that she was confused and uncomfortable at that moment but decided to just slap him and later planned to file a complaint with higher management. She also mentioned that during the shoot, he repeatedly made vulgar comments about her back and even spoke inappropriately about the hair on her face. When she told him that she would complain, he responded with more inappropriate remarks, which led her to file a formal complaint at the Jubilee Hills police station. Upon receiving the complaint on the 14th, the police arrested him and produced him in court, where he was sent on a 14-day remand.
