Film actor Totteampudi Venu, along with Progressive Constructions' executives Bhaskar Rao, Hemalatha, Srivani, and MD Paturi Praveen, have been booked by Hyderabad CCS police on Tuesday.According to the police, Progressive Constructions had previously secured a hydroelectric project work in Uttarakhand through Tehri Development Corporation. The project was subcontracted to Ritwik Projects and Swathi Constructions in Banjara Hills. However, Swathi Constructions withdrew midway, leading Ritwik to commence the work in 2002.

Meanwhile, Venu and the Progressive Constructions management canceled their agreement with Ritwik.
