Actress Hema Gets Major Relief in Bengaluru Rave Party Case
Actress Hema has received a huge relief in the Bengaluru rave party case. She was arrested and released on bail, but now the Karnataka High Court has temporarily stayed further proceedings in the case. Recently, Hema approached the court regarding the charge sheet filed against her. The court has started the hearing on the matter. Her lawyer, Mahesh Kiran Shetty, argued that there is no evidence to prove that Hema took any drugs or consumed any banned substances during the rave party. After hearing both sides, the court has issued an interim stay. The court also mentioned that a hearing will take place in four weeks.
It is known that a rave party took place in Bengaluru on May 19, 2024. The party was organized in a large manner at the BR farmhouse near Electronic City under the guise of a birthday party. During the event, the police seized large quantities of drugs along with alcohol. In addition, several TV actors, models, and high-profile individuals from the Telugu film industry were caught in the raid. Actress Hema was one of them. The Bengaluru police revealed that Hema was among the 86 individuals who tested positive for drugs.Hema was arrested by the police on June 3 in connection with the rave party case. However, she was later granted bail and released.
