Actress Kalpika Ganesh Booked After Clash at Prism Pub

A case has been registered against Tollywood actress Kalpika Ganesh under sections 324(4), 352, and 351(2) of the BNS Act. On May 29, a complaint was filed against her for allegedly misbehaving with the staff and refusing to pay the bill at Prism Pub. It is known that there was a heated argument between Kalpika and the pub management over a birthday cake. Following this, the pub authorities lodged a complaint at the Gachibowli Police Station. With court approval, the police registered a case against Kalpika. The staff alleged that she threw plates at them and also body-shamed them. Earlier, Kalpika had also filed a case against the pub management.

Actress Kalpika shared several videos related to the incident on her social media. She expressed anguish stating that the staff of Prism Pub abused her with vulgar language. She also alleged that they physically assaulted her and accused her of being a drug addict. Kalpika claimed that when she approached the police with a complaint, the pub management retaliated with similar accusations. Based on both parties’ complaints, the police have registered cases.

Kalpika gained recognition for her role as Genelia's friend in the movie Orange. After that, she acted in several Telugu films including Julayi, Sarocharu, Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, Padi Padi Leche Manasu, HIT: The First Case, and Yashoda.
