Renowned filmmaker MS Raju has commenced promotions for his upcoming film ‘Agadha’, which is currently in the post-production stage. Known for delivering trendsetting films under the Sumanth Arts banner, MS Raju continues to explore unique storytelling with this latest project.
Having produced successful films such as Enemy, Devi, Manasantha Nuvve, Okkadu, Varsham, and Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana, MS Raju has also carved a niche as a director with films like Dirty Hari and 7 Days 6 Nights. Staying true to his creative approach, he avoids repetitive narratives and aims to offer audiences a fresh cinematic experience each time.
The promotional campaign for Agadha has begun on a distinctive note. Recently, the team released an engaging promotional video featuring two thieves attempting a heist at MS Raju’s office. As they browse through iconic film posters, nostalgia unfolds, eventually leading to a suspenseful moment centered around the Agadha poster.
The newly unveiled poster presents a visually striking setting a dark cave illuminated by torches, creating an eerie atmosphere. At the center stands a mystical statue with twelve arms and a mysterious expression. In front of it appears a young woman with her back facing the viewer, dressed in an unusual attire. The poster has successfully sparked intrigue among audiences.
Described as a mystical divine thriller, Agadha is being produced by Kashi Vishalakshi Balusu under the Sri Adivaraha Productions banner. The film is planned for release in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.
Speaking about the project, MS Raju revealed that the film was shot over 85 days across various sets and locations. He also highlighted that nearly 45 minutes of the film will feature extensive VFX, indicating a grand visual scale. The makers are expected to announce the cast soon, with the release slated in the near future.
The technical team includes music composer Mikkin Arul Dev, cinematographer Nani Chamidisetty, editor Junaid Siddiqui, and production designer Rajiv Nair, with additional screenplay by Chaitanya Vegi.
