The shooting of Akhanda-2, helmed by Boyapati Srinu and featuring Natasimha Balakrishna in the lead, is moving ahead at full throttle. The film unit is working relentlessly, without taking any breaks, determined to meet the target release date. Matching the team’s dedication, Balakrishna too is fully energized and actively participating in the shoot.After wrapping up a recent schedule in Giorgio and returning to Hyderabad, the team was expected to take a short break. However, filming resumed promptly on Monday. The current schedule is underway at a specially constructed set in Ramoji Film City, where significant scenes are being shot.

Balakrishna along with the principal cast members are fully engaged in the current schedule.The schedule includes key combination scenes with other actors as well as individual sequences. This shoot is expected to continue for another 10–15 days, after which work on the songs will commence.With the film slated for a September 25 release, the team has just about two months left to wrap up the remaining talkie and song portions. Simultaneously, the VFX work is progressing rapidly, ensuring no time is lost as the production races toward completion.
