Akkineni Nagarjuna has initiated legal action against Minister Konda Surekha due to her controversial remarks about him and actress Samantha, which have stirred significant controversy in both film and political circles. He has filed a defamation suit and a criminal case in the Nampally court. During the ongoing hearing, Nagarjuna, along with family members Amala, Naga Chaitanya, Supriya, and Venkateshwar, appeared before the court.

The next hearing is scheduled for October 30. Nagarjuna stated that his family's reputation has been tarnished by Surekha's rude comments, allegedly made with political intent regarding his family and Naga Chaitanya's relationship with Samantha.
