Akkineni Nageswara Rao's Centenary Celebrated with Nationwide Film Festival
The Film Heritage Foundation is hosting a nationwide film festival from Sept. 20-22 to celebrate Akkineni Nageswara Rao’s centenary, featuring 10 restored classics across 25 cities.

Centenary Celebration: India’s Film Heritage Foundation will celebrate Akkineni Nageswara Rao’s 100th birthday with a film festival.
Event Details: Titled “ANR 100 – King Of The Silver Screen,” the festival will run from Sept. 20-22.
Movies Showcased: The festival features 10 restored classics from Rao's career, including films like “Devadasu” (1953) and “Mayabazar” (1957).
Locations: Screenings will be held in 25 cities, including major metros and smaller towns.
Collaborators: The event is organized by Film Heritage Foundation, the Akkineni Nageswara Rao family, NFDC, and PVR-Inox, with funding from India’s Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
