Allu Arjun Arrest Live Updates: Telangana High Court To Hear Actor's Petition To Quash Case Soon
Allu Arjun faces legal proceedings after his arrest in the Sandhya Theatre stampede case. The Telangana High Court will soon hear his petition to quash the charges.

Allu Arjun, the popular Telugu actor, was arrested in connection with a tragic stampede at Hyderabad's Sandhya Theatre during the premiere of Pushpa 2. The incident led to the death of a woman and hospitalizing her child. Police have filed charges against Allu Arjun, his security team, and the theatre management under Sections 105 and 118(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
Following his arrest, Allu Arjun was taken for a medical examination at Gandhi Hospital in Hyderabad. His legal team approached the Telangana High Court, seeking to quash the FIR filed against him. The court has accepted the petition and postponed the hearing for further deliberation.
The police are continuing their investigation, having recorded Allu Arjun’s statement. The actor's father, Allu Aravind, and other family members, including his brother and father-in-law, were seen at the police station. Popular film producer Dil Raju also visited the station in solidarity with the actor.
The stampede occurred on December 4 during the screening of Pushpa 2 before its official release. The woman, identified as 35-year-old Revathi, died on the spot, and her son was injured. The case has garnered significant attention, and Allu Arjun's involvement remains under scrutiny as the legal process unfolds.
