Allu Arjun Released from Jail After Interim Bail in Stampede Case

Allu Arjun, who was arrested in connection with the stampede incident at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad, was released amidst high anticipation this morning. He walked out of Chanchalguda Jail at 6:30 AM through the rear gate and proceeded straight to the Geetha Arts office. From there, he planned to reach his residence in Jubilee Hills. In the meantime, heavy security was arranged near Allu Arjun's house, with barricades set up to prevent fans from gathering.

After Allu Arjun's arrest yesterday, he underwent a health check-up at Gandhi Hospital before being presented in the Nampally Court. The court placed him on a 14-day remand, following which the police shifted him to Chanchalguda Jail. However, the Telangana High Court granted him interim bail for four weeks. Due to a delay in the delivery of bail documents to the jail authorities, he had to stay overnight at Chanchalguda Jail on Friday.

Allu Arjun stayed in the reception area of Chanchalguda Jail until 10:30 PM before being moved to the Manjeera Barracks. He was assigned the undertrial prisoner number 7697 and stayed in a Class-1 room with two other undertrial prisoners. On Saturday morning, after his lawyer submitted a bail bond of ₹50,000 to the jail superintendent, he was released.
