Allu Arjun Gets Relief from AP High Court as Case is Dismissed
Allu Arjun receives relief in Andhra Pradesh High Court
Allu Arjun, the popular actor, has received relief from the Andhra Pradesh High Court, as the court dismissed the case filed against him in Nandyal. The case was filed by the Nandyal police during the Andhra Pradesh Assembly Elections (2024), accusing him of violating election regulations. Arjun and former MLA Ravi Chandra Kishore Reddy filed a petition to dismiss the case, which was heard on the 25th of the previous month. The court responded by directing the police not to take any action based on the FIR until November 6.
Incident and subsequent legal proceedings
The issue began when Allu Arjun visited Nandyal to wish YSR Congress Party candidate Shilpa Ravi Chandra Kishore Reddy success in the elections. During this visit, a large crowd of fans gathered to see him, and without prior permission, Allu Arjun and Shilpa Ravi organized a rally in Nandyal. The Returning Officer filed a complaint with the police, stating that the rally was conducted without proper authorization. Based on this complaint, the police registered a case against Allu Arjun and Shilpa Ravi under IPC Section 188, and the case was registered as Crime Number 71/2024.
Court’s final decision
On November 6, the court dismissed the case against Allu Arjun after hearing the matter. The court also announced that the final verdict would be given on that date, and it directed the police not to take any action regarding the case until then. This legal relief for Allu Arjun marks the end of the case filed against him in connection with the alleged violation of election rules during the Andhra Pradesh Assembly Elections.
