Samantha addressed Surekha’s claims on Instagram, stating, “Konda Surekha Garu, I am proud of what this journey turned me into—please don’t trivialize it. I implore you to be responsible and respectful of individuals’ privacy.”

Naga Chaitanya also labeled the claims as “ridiculous” and clarified the situation, while Konda Surekha later retracted her statements following a legal notice from KTR, warning of potential defamation.
