Speaking at a success meeting for Mathu Vadhalara 2, Shankar defended Allu Arjun, emphasizing that the actor should not be implicated. He stated, “The hero is focused on wishing everyone a good morning and sticking to his choreography. There’s no reason for him to interfere with anyone’s work.”

Shankar further explained that Jani was hired as an additional choreographer for Pushpa and was set to choreograph a special number for its sequel, Pushpa 2, just days before the incident occurred.

For context, Jani Master, known for choreographing the popular song "Srivalli" from Pushpa: The Rise, was accused by a 21-year-old woman who claimed he sexually abused her over six years. She stated that the incidents began in 2019, but she felt unable to report them due to threats from Jani. Following her complaint, he was arrested by the Cyberabad Police in Goa.

Allu Arjun is currently looking forward to the release of Pushpa 2: The Rule, which has been rescheduled from August 15, 2024, to December 6, 2024.
