Anil Ravipudi Shares His Approach to Filmmaking and Success in Tollywood

Anil Ravipudi is a well-known successful director in Tollywood. He made his directorial debut with the movie Pataas, starring Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, and gained recognition in the industry. After that, he delivered super hit films such as Supreme, Raja The Great, F2, Sarileru Neekevvaru, F3, and Bhagavanth Kesari. His latest film, Sankranti Ki Vastunna, starring Victory Venkatesh and Aishwarya Rajesh, has also been a success, earning positive reviews and good box office collections. The movie was released on January 14 and has continued to perform well.

During the success celebration of the movie, Anil Ravipudi shared some interesting thoughts. He mentioned, "My 8 films each have their own journey. The last 5 films have consecutively collected over 100 crores. As a director, I don't know how to thank the audience properly." He also responded to some comments, saying that some people find the comedy in his films cringeworthy, while others believe they are suitable for audiences who enjoy shows like Jabardasth. To these critics, he stated that he only has one thing to say.

Anil Ravipudi further shared his views on filmmaking, saying, "Some directors study the craft meticulously, discussing aspects like writing, screenplay, emotions, and elevation. But I don't follow all that. What I know is cinema. When I go to a movie theater and enjoy a film, I cheer and clap. That’s what I understand as cinema. It's what I've known since my childhood," he explained.
