Anshu Returns to Telugu Cinema After 23 Years with Majaka

Actress Anshu revealed that she was just 15 years old during the filming of Manmadhudu and lacked maturity at that time. She mentioned that if she had done the film in her mid-20s, she might have continued her career in movies. After Raghavendra, she moved to London, completed her master’s degree, and became a psychologist. She got married at 24 and now has two children, calling it a beautiful journey. After nearly 23 years, she is making her comeback with Majaka, directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina and produced by Rajesh Danda, set to release on the 26th of this month.

Speaking to the media in Hyderabad on Saturday, Anshu expressed excitement about Majaka, calling it a great opportunity. She enjoyed the narration by writer Prasanna and stated that her role in the film is crucial and intense. She believes the audience will appreciate her performance.

Anshu, a British Indian living in London, admitted that speaking Telugu was initially challenging, so she hired a tutor to improve her language skills. She thanked the film unit for their support and mentioned that she has become good friends with Sundeep Kishan and Ritu Varma. She also expressed her desire to take up more strong roles in Telugu cinema in the future.
