AR Rahman Explains Grammy Disqualification of Adujeevitam
In a recent interview with Connect Cine, Oscar and Grammy-winning composer AR Rahman explained why the film Adujeevitam missed out on a Grammy nomination.

He noted that the film's soundtrack was just over a minute long, making it ineligible for consideration. Rahman mentioned he composed four tracks for the Blessy-directed film, but they did not meet the Grammy's length requirements. Looking ahead, he expressed his intention to submit more works for Grammy consideration, stating, "My Picture Won't Win Anymore, but it could be."
Currently, he is collaborating with Better Band. Rahman's illustrious career includes numerous accolades, such as a recent National Award for Best Music Director (Background Music) for Ponniyin Selvan: Part 1, awarded by President Draupadi Murmu. Notably, he did not submit the soundtracks for Ponniyin Selvan: Part 1 and Part 2 for Grammy consideration last year. With upcoming projects like Chava and Thug Life, Rahman continues to create impactful music, and fans are eagerly awaiting his future works in hopes of another Grammy or Oscar win.
