Arya 2 has been re-released in cinemas across the twin Telugu states, creating a huge buzz, with FDFS tickets selling out quickly. Many theaters, especially single screens, have reported full houses or fast-filling shows.

The rerelease is happening at Sandhya 70mm and 35mm theaters at RTC X Roads in Hyderabad, with heightened security in place. Police have been deployed at the venue to ensure safety, following the tragic stampede during the Pushpa 2 release last year, which resulted in the death of a 35-year-old woman, Revathi, and left her 9-year-old son, Sai Tej, still recovering.

Arya 2, which originally released in 2009, stars Allu Arjun, Kajal Aggarwal, and Navdeep. The film features a hit soundtrack by Devi Sri Prasad and is produced by BVSN Prasad.
