The makers of Bachhala Malli have completed the censorship formalities ahead of the film's release. The Allari Naresh starrer, set to hit theaters on December 20, has received a U/A certificate from the Censor Board.

Bachhala Malli is produced by Razesh Danda and Balaji Gutta under the Hasya Movies banner. The official teaser was launched on Saturday. Directed by Subbu Mangadevvi, the film portrays Allari Naresh in a unique role. He plays a ruffian, a flawed man with several vices, who embarks on a journey of redemption after falling in love. Recently, producer Razesh Danda remarked during a press meet, "Bachhala Malli will be to Naresh gaaru what Rangasthalam was to Ram Charan. After watching this movie, audiences will feel this is Naresh 2.0."

Amritha Iyer plays the female lead in the film, while the supporting cast includes seasoned actors like Rao Ramesh and Rohini. Vishal Chandrasekhar has composed the music, with Richard M Nathan handling cinematography and Chota K Prasad taking care of the editing.It is noteworthy that Bachhala Malli is the only major Telugu theatrical release this week.
