Tollywood is mourning the loss of Balagam Mogilayya, the renowned Burra Katha artist, who passed away this morning. Mogilayya gained recognition for his impactful performance in the climax of the hit film Balagam, where he performed a memorable Burra Katha story.

For years, Mogilayya and his wife Komuramma made a living by telling Burra stories and earned widespread respect for their craft. Recently, he had been battling kidney-related issues and other health complications. Despite receiving financial support from Balagam director Venu and the local government for his treatment, he passed away while undergoing care at a private hospital in Warangal.

His death has prompted heartfelt tributes from fellow Burra Katha artists and film industry personalities.
