Balakrishna to Sing Special Song in Gopichand Malineni Film After Akhanda 2 Success

Nandamuri Balakrishna recently returned to theaters with his much-awaited film Akhanda 2 and is now preparing to impress audiences with yet another new dimension.

Akhanda 2 Thaandavam, featuring Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead role, has successfully arrived on the big screen. Released on December 12, the film continued the winning collaboration of Balayya and director Boyapati Srinu, following the massive success of the first Akhanda. The movie earned an impressive Rs 59.5 crore gross on its opening day and crossed the Rs 100 crore milestone within its first week, marking a strong box office performance.

Following the success of Akhanda 2, Balakrishna has shifted his attention to his upcoming project, which is being directed by Gopichand Malineni. The film has officially gone on floors recently, marking the second collaboration between the actor and director after the blockbuster Veera Simha Reddy. Venkata Satish Kilaru is backing the project under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner. In the film, Balakrishna will be seen portraying the role of a Maharaja, while popular actress Nayanthara has been cast as the Maharani. Adding to the excitement, Balayya will once again appear in a dual role.

Renowned music composer S S Thaman, who is scoring the music for the film, has revealed an exciting update. He confirmed that the movie will feature a powerful special song, which will be sung by Balakrishna himself. Thaman officially announced that the track will have an energetic and grand feel, similar to Daler Mehndi’s iconic Saahore Baahubali song from Baahubali. Previously, Balakrishna had lent his voice to the popular number Mama Ek Pegla La from Puri Jagannadh’s Paisa Vasool. Fans are thrilled to see him return as a singer after several years.
