Tollywood actor Akhil Akkineni stars in the upcoming film Lenin, directed by Murali Kishore Abburi and produced by Akkineni Nagarjuna and Naga Vamsi under Annapurna Studios and Sithara Entertainments. The film’s glimpses, set against a rural backdrop, have impressed audiences.

Srileela is said to have walked out of the project, as juggling dates for her packed Hindi and Tamil film schedules became increasingly difficult. Bhagyashree Bhorse, who debuted in Mr. Bachchan, is now rumored to be the new female lead, though an official confirmation is awaited.
