Bindu Madhavi Joins Social Drama 'Dandora' in a Bold Role
The upcoming film Dandora is being produced by Ravindra Banerjee Muppaneni of Loukya Entertainments, who gained attention with the National Award-winning Color Photo and the blockbuster Bedurulanka 2012. Directed by Muralikanth, the movie is progressing rapidly. The second schedule of shooting is currently underway, lasting 25 days continuously. Actress Bindu Madhavi, known for her unique roles, has joined this schedule. She will be portraying a sex worker in the film, a character designed to be emotionally touching and thought-provoking. Notably, versatile actor Shivaji is also part of this schedule.
Dandora created buzz with its first beat video and is being developed with a strong social awareness theme. The movie highlights atrocities faced by individuals who marry or oppose the upper castes despite being from those same communities. Set against a rural Telangana backdrop, the film reflects on ancient customs and traditions while blending satire, humor, and deep emotional content. Alongside Shivaji, the film features Navdeep, Nandu, Bindu Madhavi, Ravi Krishna, Manik, Anusha, and Radhya in prominent roles.
The music for Dandora is composed by renowned music director Mark K. Robin. Venkat R. Sakamuri is handling cinematography, Srujana Adusumilli is in charge of editing, and Kranti Priyam serves as the art director. Costumes are designed by Rekha Boggarapu, Edward Peraji is the executive producer, and Anish Marishetti is the co-producer. The makers stated that more details about the movie will be revealed soon.
