Actor Bobby Deol is known for playing diverse roles that stand on par with lead heroes. He is currently acting in Aashram Season 3 Part 2, where he portrays the character of Nirala Baba. In a recent interview, Bobby Deol spoke about his role in the series and mentioned that he had been waiting for such a character for a long time.

"I always prefer challenging roles because they bring recognition. When the director approached me for this series, I initially thought I would be given a police officer’s role. But I was surprised to learn that I was being considered for the Baba character. I even thought I misheard him. However, he had full confidence that I could play the role convincingly. Landing such a role requires luck. It has been an incredible journey, and every actor wishes for such opportunities," said Bobby Deol.

Ashram, directed by Prakash Jha, explores how devotees worship Nirala Baba as a divine figure while revealing dark secrets involving crimes such as sexual assaults and murders within the ashram. The series showcases Bobby Deol’s versatility through his portrayal of both Baba and Monty Singh. Aashram Season 1 and Season 2 were released in 2020, followed by Season 3 in 2022. Now, its Part 2 is set to stream on MX Player from February 27.
