Boney Kapoor Defends Allu Arjun in Sandhya Theater Stampede Incident

In the Sandhya Theater incident, Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor stated that there was no need to blame Allu Arjun. Recently, during an event, he responded to the incident that occurred at Sandhya Theater. "South Indian audiences have more admiration for movie stars. I once went to a midnight show for an Ajith movie. There were nearly 25,000 people there. It was the first time I saw so many people. After the movie ended, at 4 AM when I was leaving, many fans were still waiting outside. Not just Ajith, but also Chiranjeevi, Rajinikanth, and Allu Arjun's movies draw a huge audience on the first day. There were several thousand people at the theater that day. Seeing such a crowd was the first time for me. It's not right to blame Allu Arjun alone for an incident that happened unexpectedly.The incident should not be blamed on Allu Arjun.

It is known that Allu Arjun's movie, Pushpa 2, released on December 5th. Released amidst massive expectations, the film has earned over ₹1700 crores till now. The day before, on December 4th, the film had a benefit show. Unfortunately, during a stampede at Sandhya Theater in Hyderabad’s RTC X Road, a woman named Revathi lost her life, and her son was severely injured, for whom treatment is being provided. Following the incident, the police filed a case, and Allu Arjun was arrested last month. He has since been released on interim bail.
