Case Filed Against Actress Kasturi Over Controversial Comments On Telugu People

Actress Kasturi Faces Legal Action in Chennai for Remarks About Telugu People

A case has been registered in Chennai against actress Kasturi for her controversial comments about Telugu people. Kasturi, a senior Tamil actress, and BJP worker made inflammatory remarks during a speech at a BJP assembly, claiming that Telugu people had come to Tamil Nadu 300 years ago to serve the women of Anta.

Her comments sparked outrage, and she later apologized, clarifying that it was not her intention to hurt anyone and retract her words.

Despite the apology, a case was filed at the Egmore Police Station in Chennai following a complaint from the Telugu community in Tamil Nadu. The police have registered the case under four sections.
