Police registered a case against singer Mangli and three others for hosting a birthday party at Chevella’s Tripura Resort without permission and for using alcohol illegally. The others booked include resort assistant manager Ramakrishna, event manager Meghraj, and Damodar Reddy.

Damodar Reddy tested positive for ganja, leading to an NDPS Act case. Around 48 people attended the party, including Bigg Boss fame Divi and lyricist Kasarla Shyam. Police are also probing obscene dances and foreign liquor supply at such resort parties.

Footage showing Mangli allegedly confronting police during the raid has gone viral, with insiders describing her reaction as exaggerated.
