Chaithra J Achar Bags Key Role in Prabhas Fauji Movie

Actress Chaithra J Achar, who earned praise for her bold portrayal in the acclaimed movie Chance, has now bagged a major role in Prabhas’ next big project “Fauji”, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. The talented Kannada actress has previously impressed Telugu audiences with her performances in Sapta Sagaralu Daati: Side B and 3BHK.

According to the latest updates, Immanvi will play the lead heroine in Fauji, while Chaithra takes on a pivotal supporting role. The cast also features veteran actors Anupam Kher and Rahul Ravindran. The film is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers as a high-budget period action drama.

Currently under production, Fauji is expected to hit theatres next year. The story is set in the 1940s, where Prabhas portrays a soldier fighting for justice and the welfare of his people. Director Hanu Raghavapudi has woven the narrative by blending historical incidents with fictional elements, promising an emotional and powerful cinematic experience.

Apart from acting, Chaithra J Achar is also an accomplished singer. Hailing from Bengaluru (Bangalore), she began her film journey with Mahira (2019). Her rendition of the song “Sojugada Sooju Mallige” from the Kannada film Garuda Gamana Vrishabha Vahanam became a viral hit, amassing millions of views online and earning her the SIIMA Award in 2022.

Currently, Chaithra is working on several upcoming projects, including Uttarakanda, My Lord, Strawberry, and Marnami. Her performance as a sex worker in Side B was especially praised, showcasing her versatility and emotional depth as an actress.
